COVID-19 POSTPONEMENT STATEMENT
It’s been a difficult time for each and every one of us lately and we’d like to thank you for your patience and support while we have evaluated the situation and explored every option over the last few months regarding Picnic and Pop.
We have held off cancelling the Festival for as long as possible in the hope that some miracle would happen but unfortunately it is now time to accept that it is no longer possible for this year’s event to go ahead as planned. So much time and effort has been put in over the last 9 months to make this year even better than before and this decision has not been taken lightly. We are beyond disappointed and really did try to hang on in there and make this happen. We did consider moving the event to a date in September and had booked Manor Park for the 5th but having discussed it at length between ourselves and our partners we felt the risk was just too great for a small independent festival to take under such uncertain circumstances.
We would like to thank those sponsors, artists and suppliers who, although themselves are greatly affected by the current situation, have already agreed to support us. We now ask for your support too as we move to protect the future of this local festival and ensure that it can continue in the community of Aldershot for many years to come.
Those who have bought tickets, they will automatically be valid for next years festival on Saturday 31st July 2021 and we hope that you will keep hold of them for then. However, for anyone not able to make the new date, you can request a refund on the ticket page HERE.
